Celebrating 80 Years of Brotherhood,
Tradition, and Dragon Pride
Eighty years ago, the halls of St. George
High School were alive with the sounds
of young men hurrying to class, the
guidance of the Christian Brothers, and
the strong spirit of faith, discipline, and
brotherhood that shaped generations
of Dragons.
In the 1940s, St. George was more than
a school. It was a place where lifelong
friendships were formed, values were
strengthened, and young men were
prepared to lead lives of integrity and
service. Students gathered for spirited
athletic competitions, school dances,
assemblies, and traditions that became
cherished memories carried long
after graduation. The pride of being
a St. George Dragon could be felt in
every classroom, every hallway, and
on every corner of Sherman Avenue.
Today, though the building itself no
longer stands, the spirit of St. George
continues to unite alumni across
generations. The memories, stories,
and bonds created there remain as
strong as ever.

preserve and archive pieces of our shared history for
